What a pretty mare Ally is! The perfect buttermilk buckskin and bred to be a competitor!!
She is a daughter of PC Frosty Bid who is a successful barrel horse. He is owned by Billy and Holly Etbauer and has numerous 1D placings and wins in tough Oklahoma competition.
Her dam is Miss Big Feature who has a 93 SI (AAA) and won nearly $20,000 at the Barrel Futurities herself. Her pedigree contains numerous AAA runners.
Ally was raised and broke by the Etbaure's. She has been trained on barrels by an outside party previous to arriving here at MD Spur Barrel Horses.
She only lacks the seasoning required to be considered a finished horse and is being lightly tuned and is consigned for sale with MD Spur Barrel Horses.
This is truely a nice mare! Billy and Holly do an excellent job of getting thier young horses sure enough broke to ride. She has a wonderful foundation and will make a super nice finished horse.
See the following video of her 1st time out with MD Spur Barrel Horses as she eases a 16.465 (3D) at the Heart Land Tour recently in Chickasha, Ok.
$8,500 subject to increase as she improves. New video!! Shot 03-08-08
UPDATE 3-14-08:
Maple is now being ridden by Sandy Weathers (owner and rider of Elman's Best) and it is a great match! Only her 4th race and the new team ran a 3D time (17.3) on Friday at the Ada Hearthland Tour and won 5th in the 4D (17.1) to take home Maple's 1st check!!!
ADA VIDEO:
Taking in to consideration the facts that Maple has yet to find her run and is green green in competition along with the fact that Sandy had only been on her back 1 time prior to the 3-14-08 run at Ada, we are pleasantly surprised and look forward to future advancement. A big thanks go to my lil sis for her good piloting skills!
2003 Appendix Mare D.O.B 05/2003 Own Daughter of No Whistle out of a granddaughter of Shawnee Bug.
Maple carries the Etbauer brand as she was raised and broke by Billy and Hollie Etbauer.
I have just started to ask this mare for a little speed. She has no idea yet how to run and fire, but it is easy for her and she will step up! This is a beautiful mare to look at and a super pretty mover.
Well broke, BIG stop, soft, supple, athletic.
Maple is paid up in the Future Fortunes program and Futurity Eligible.
Currently easing a super nice pattern and ready to go on. She will easily make a 1D type horse. She is the kind!!

This is a nice gentle gelding. Blue Nacho is gentle, pretty good broke and nice to be around. He is not yet started on barrels, but is the perfect youth size horse and will be started on the barrel pattern soon.
He has tracked a lead steer and roping dummy. Pins his ears and shows nice expression. We only recently purchased Blue Nacho and at the time of purchase he had not been saddled or rode in more than a month and a half. He saddled and rode perfectly under less than perfect conditions (In town, dogs nipping at his heels, cold weather and lots of other activity). He took it all without so much as flicking an ear.
This little gray gelding is a nice summer project for not much money.
Sound, Sane, No Holes, No Vices!!!

Que Paza Sugar aka "Smoke" 8 yr old AQHA Gelding $6,500 SOLD!!!
1999 Model Handsome Grey Gelding. Finished ranch horse. ANYTHING you need to do on horse back he will do it! EXCELLENT minded and willing to please. Unlike some ranch horses, Smokes loves people and attention. FANCY BROKE! Now started on barrels, I think anyone could easily train this horse. See the new video shot on 1-24-08. Smoke exhibitioned easily a 16.4 with LESS THAN 30 DAYS on barrels. The price is being re-evaluated and will increase SOON! Sound as a dollar, never taken a lame step! This horse does toe in a bit in the front, but as I stated he has NEVER been unsound. Update: Vet check done 1-25-08 with Interstate Equine Goldsby, Ok: Smoke passed with flying colors lameness and flexion exams. X-rays were done of the front ankles showing no concerns! SOUND AS A DOLLAR! DNA Tested & Parentage Verified (Feb 28, 2008) Video shot 1-5-08 Chickasha, Ok Central 4D. This was ONLY the 6th time Smoke had EVER seen a set of barrels. He ran at this barrel race only to fill a pre-entry. No exhibition and didn't step foot in the pen until the run. He takes it all in stride. Imagine what he'll be like with a little time and training!! New Video shot 1-24-08 Mustang, Ok. This horse gets better EVERY time I step on his back. By an own son of Mr San Peppy. Out of an own daughter of Docs Sug
Que Paza Sugar – Smoke is 9 years old this year and was a finished ranch horse prior to beginning barrel horse training less than 30 days ago. I am finding many of the same qualities, abilites, and style in this horse that I found in BB Golden Moon early in her training. BB Golden Moon aka "ABBY" is now owned by Kathy Gray of Oklahoma City, Ok. Ms. Gray has had the task of turning down SIX figure offers for Abby over the past few years. Abby, like Smoke, phenomially made a barrel horse in less than 60 days. She was exposed to the barrel pattern on Feb. 1st, 2004 and won her 1st check on Mar. 10th, 2004. She runs top 1D times against many of the top horses in the nation. Smoke is by no strech of the imagination gonna make a quality, HONEST barrrel horse!! Watch him! Now residing near Snyder, TX.
